Tropicana

Libreville

Just across from the airport, all visitors to Libreville are likely to pass through this old favourite set right on the beautiful beach. Rooms are pleasant enough, though quite dark with lots of wood panelling. There are smaller, cheaper rooms next to the car park (twin/double CFA25,000/30,000). Book ahead as many expats from outside Libreville like to stay here.

On Sundays there's a large buffet (CFA15,000) and the beach is packed. Be sure to book to secure the best tables on the beach. In the restaurant, mains start at CFA5000.
