Somotel

Libreville

From the French sommeil (to sleep), Somotel is just that – a clean and relatively cheap place to crash. Views are of a shanty town and it's a bit of a dodgy area, but it's a good-value budget option not far from the centre of town. There are cheaper rooms with noisy, old air-con (CFA22,000 and CFA24,000). There's no wi-fi.

The dining room serves a set menu with three choices from CFA3500 and is open from 7am to 10pm.
