Right next to the hospital museum and the river, this is by far the most atmospheric and interesting accommodation in town. Sleek and smart rooms are housed in what used to be the hospital staff's quarters, and in each there's the biography of the room's previous inhabitant. Meals are available if you order ahead.
Breakfast CFA3000; lunch CFA5000–7000; dinner CFA5000–6000. Pirogue trips can be organised, too: four people for two hours CFA60,000; for three hours CFA100,000. The hotel can also arrange your transport from Libreville to Lambaréné.
