Mave Mai

Nuku Hiva

Peacefully reposed over sloping grounds above the marina, this pension features eight rooms in a two-storey motel-style building. They’re plain and not terribly Polynesian, but they’re light and well appointed, with private facilities (hot water) and air-con, as well as a kitchenette in two of the rooms. The real draw is the small terrace (or balcony upstairs) overlooking the bay.

The owners don't live on the premises so guests have the place to themselves most of the time.
