The setting here, on a white-beach-clad motu with a stretch of manicured coconut palms and views of blue in all directions, can't be matched. This boutique resort hosts an odd mix of a near-elegant style of shells and adornments that feels very Polynesian, with the detached, professional management approach of a chain resort – which many guests love.
There was a large villa under construction on an adjoining part of the motu when we passed by that will offer an even higher level of luxury. Kayaks and snorkelling equipment are available for free; lagoon tours and fishing trips are organised. Half-board is an extra 10,800 CFP per person and airport transfers cost 8000 CFP per person return. Look out for internet deals.
