Hibiscus

Ra'iatea & Taha'a

The haphazardly run Hibiscus gets mixed reviews, but its promo deals (stay three nights, pay for two) make it a bargain. Seven simply built bungalows of varying sizes and shapes are clustered in an Edenlike garden on a hillside overlooking Haamene Bay. They all have bathroom, terrace and fan, and there are eight free boat moorings with dock access.

There’s an on-site restaurant and a bar across the road, on the waterfront. Transfers from Ra'iatea cost 6000 CFP per person return.
