Pension La Croix du Sud

Set on a steep hill above Vini Beach Lodge, this pension offers some amazing views of the northern side of Faaroa Bay. There are three rooms all with private bathrooms and meals are served on a pleasant terrace overlooking the bay. Accommodation is all a bit flimsy and funky but it has plenty of Polynesian colour and charm. There are free bicycles for getting around but it’s a long pedal to anywhere from this isolated spot. Airport transfers cost 1500 CFP per car load and credit cards aren’t accepted.
