Opéra de Vichy

Auvergne

The opera house, opened in 1903, has a vast auditorium that can seat 1400 spectators for musical and theatrical performances. Tickets for shows can be reserved via Vichy's tourist office or on www.digitick.com.

Even if you aren't seeing a show, it's worth swinging by to admire the opera house's art-nouveau exterior, complete with dome and delicate glasswork, and decorated with harps, lyres and other musical insignia.
