La Maison des Parapluies

Blois

One of just a handful of artisanal umbrella makers in France, Nathalie Fraudeau uses skills learned in Normandy and six specialised machines to craft each parapluie (umbrella) and ambrelle (parasol). Visitors are welcome to drop by and watch her work. Special orders (including umbrellas with a customised photo printed on the dome) take a couple of days.
