Passage Pommeray

Top choice in Nantes

Pedestal statues represent traditional Nantais industries inside this ornate, three-tiered shopping arcade. It was built in 1843 to link the then–stock exchange with the post office and extended in 2016 to stunning effect. The passageway is bejewelled with some of Nantes' most chic shops, including Hermès, Provencal perfumier Durance, Breton chocolatier Georges Larnicol and French cookware shop Le Creuset.

Shop for luxuriously crafted, leather handbags at French design house Le Tanneur, shirts for men at Coton Doux and even funkier 'Made in France' socks at Berthe aux Grands Pieds.
