Café du Musée

Nantes

The cafe-restaurant inside Nantes' Musée d'Arts cooks up a seasonal Nantaise menu signed off by Michelin-starred chef Eric Guérin. Tasty sardine, cheese and charcuterie platters are served between meals, and dinner (reservations obligatory) is a multi-course waltz through creative chalkboard specials that might include a lamb, ginger and parsley burger or monkfish with caramelised hazelnuts.

Sunday brunch (€27) is a gourmet feast: two eat-to-your-heart’s-content sweet and savoury buffets, plus a surf (fish) or turf (meat) platter, sparkling wine, juice and coffee.
