Hotel Central

Avignon

As its name suggests, this efficient hotel is right in the heart of things, smack bang beside the main thoroughfare of rue de la République. It's modern throughout, with small rooms and minimal clutter, but the drawback is the steep central stairs and lack of elevator. Ask for a room overlooking the interior courtyard.
