Hostellerie du Vieux Pérouges

Lyon & the Rhône Valley

To appreciate Pérouges’ charm, you could do worse than booking a room at this historic hotel, which also operates a respected restaurant. Its 28 rooms boast old-time touches, such as exposed beams, thick walls, parquet floors and period furniture, and occupy four medieval houses right in the centre. The rooms in the Manoir and St Georges houses are the best. No lift.

The stylish 'La Vallée' room, with great countryside views, is one of the most sought after.
