Size isn't everything, and this pocked-sized restaurant ably balances Auvergne specialities (perfectly seasoned steaks, local cheese platters) with inspiration from around France (like Provence-style beef tartare and scallops dressed with hazelnut vinaigrette). Just as beautifully plated are L'Air 2 Rien's desserts: homemade moelleux du chocolat with cream of pistachio is definitely worth the wait.
