Poinçon

Top choice in Paris

If there's a more atmospheric bar in the 14e, we haven't seen it. Opened in 2019, Poinçon occupies a delightfully restored railway station that was part of the Petite Ceinture. Half trendy bar and half slick bistro bathing in a warm atmosphere, it's much loved by Parisians living in the arrondissement, not least for its luscious cocktails and wines.

The food (mains from €9.50) is fantastic value and there's a 'Jazz Brunch' on Sunday (€34).
