Mesdemoiselles Madeleines

Montmartre & Northern Paris

Shell-shaped French madeleine cakes, immortalised by Marcel Proust, are the sole product of this ingenious spot, in a dazzling array of flavours: 'simple' (Tahitian vanilla; Ethiopian coffee), 'savoury' (red onion, chives and crème fraîche; basil, feta and pine nuts), and 'gourmet' (Rhône valley raspberries with raspberry coulis; caramelised hazelnuts, salted caramel mousse and a caramel shell), along with bite-sized mini-madeleines.

Even a single madeleine is beautifully packaged in a white box with gold lettering.
