Micro Brasserie Balthazar

Le Marais, Ménilmontant & Belleville

Balthazar's house brews, such as La Vibe (fruity pale ale), La Badas (black IPA), La Pickpocket (a double IPA), L'Ibu Profane (session IPA) and La Tiramistout (milk stout with aromas of coffee and chocolate) rotate on the taps at this crowd-funded microbrewery, along with guest beers from other French breweries, including Brasserie la Goutte d'Or.

There are tables inside the industrial space and out on the pavement beneath a string of multicoloured lights.
