Loustic

Le Marais, Ménilmontant & Belleville

Brit-born, Paris-adopted Channa Galhenage is the barista energy behind this north Marais espresso bar. Hermès wallpaper, geometric prints and 'golden oldie' French films screened on one wall make Loustic (old Breton for 'smart Alec') a beautiful space for lounging or laptop-ing over excellent Caffènation coffee (roasted in Antwerp).

Scrumptious banana bread and other cakes are freshly baked by Paris' inimitable Emperor Norton.
