Hôtel du Petit Moulin

Le Marais, Ménilmontant & Belleville

A bakery at the time of Henri IV, this 17-room hotel was designed from head to toe by French designer Christian Lacroix. Choose from medieval and rococo Marais rooms sporting exposed beams and dressed in toile de Jouy wallpaper, or more modern surrounds with contemporary murals and heart-shaped mirrors just this side of kitsch.

There is an honesty bar in the cosy, zinc-bar-clad breakfast room (breakfast €10). Guests can use the spa and gym at nearby sister hotel Le Pavillon de la Reine.
