If you enjoy architectural grand designs, you'll adore this wonderful B&B. Inside the handsome brick shell (a former factory) are gorgeous, clean-lined, screamingly elegant rooms, with industrial touches like exposed brick and industrial-style sliding doors. Downstairs is the former factory floor, now a design-mag dream, complete with steel staircase, floor-to-ceiling windows, pendant lights and a vast refectory table where breakfast is served.
Some of the old factory machinery has even been left in situ to create a real design feature. It's off the route de Riez; ask for directions, as GPS tends to miss the turning.
