It doesn’t get more Provençal than this wonderful farmhouse, run by Michelin-starred chef Reine Sammut, who is gradually handing the reins over to his daughter, Nadia. The multi-course menus are hymns to Provençal produce, most of which is grown in the Sammuts' potager (kitchen garden). The restaurant is unsurprisingly expensive; diners on slighter budgets can opt for the bistro.
The farm also has a selection of lovely, elegant rooms which – considering the prestige of the place – are surprisingly affordable (doubles from €160 to €230). And if you want to learn from the maestros, half-day cooking classes start at €145, including lunch.
