Le Jas de Gordes

The Luberon

This sumptuous B&B manages to pull off a tricky balance between contemporary style and traditional architecture, with delightful, feminine rooms overlooking an impeccably-kept garden filled with olive trees, fragrant shrubs, a fountain and a fine pool (garden rooms have little patios, top-floor rooms small balconies). The outside bar is a lovely place for an aperitif.
