The chunky building might bring to mind a jumble of Lego bricks, but this covered market is packed with fresh local produce and organic vegetables. Best buys include Auvergnat cheeses, the pâte de fruits (fruit jelly) pick 'n' mix, bottles of herbal liqueur, and jams from bilberry to quince (the latter is excellent with cheese).
