Restaurant du Hameau

Chantilly

In the grounds of Château de Chantilly, a half-timbered building dating from the late 18th century that was a favoured drinking den for aristocrats is now a bucolic restaurant with tables set on the lawns. At lunchtime it serves salads, tartines, cheese and charcuterie platters and daily specials; after 3pm, afternoon tea includes fruits and berries with thick Chantilly cream.

Its two-course kids' menu costs €11.
