With its open-sided fireplace and pretty, art-filled dining room, this small restaurant makes a good refuge from the harbour-side hustle. It also provides a no-nonsense grounding in Provençal flavours, from the complementary house-made tapenade to the artichauts à la barigoule (braised purple artichokes), monkfish bouillabaisse and authentically Marseillais pieds paquets (stewed lamb's feet and tripe).
