La Telline

Top choice in Camargue

A true local favourite, this isolated cottage restaurant with sage-green wooden shutters is one of the best places to sample genuine Camargue food. Summer dining is in a small and peaceful flower-filled garden, where straightforward starters such as tellines (molluscs), salad or terrine are followed by grilled fish or meat, or a beef or bull steak. No credit cards.

The owners also run several chambres d'hôtes (doubles from €115).
