There's never a dull moment at this buzzing neighbourhood bistro with quintessential retro interior and obligatory line-up of grass-green metal chairs squeezed onto the pavement in front. Food is home-cooked and mixes bistro classics like hand-cut steak tartare and hamburger à cheval (not a horse-meat burger, rather a beef burger topped with a fried egg) with creative salads and other lighter veg dishes.
Come dusk, after work, the bistro morphs into something of a lively tapas bar with frequent DJ sets.
