In an old brick weaving shed, this popular place offers a wide range of home-brewed and delicious beer, cider and perry, including an excellent strong stout. Meals are large and designed to soak up the alcohol: massive sausage platters and enormous slabs of pork in classic beer-hall style. Vegetables come in the form of potatoes and onions, usually fried.
