Off the main road 2.5km south of Saariselkä, this cute wooden hut with a roaring open fire has good-value Sunday brunch buffets. It's well worth booking in for dinner, though, when the game-oriented mains might include wood pigeon or elk fillet. In winter a small pond is cut into the ice for you to brave after you use the on-site sauna.
