At this house-museum, traditional Karelian red-painted wooden farm buildings have been fitted out to depict traditional Kuhmo life at the turn of the 20th century for wealthy families and their servants. It’s a gentle, charming display of historic everyday objects. In July only, a 25-minute guided visit (English available) takes place at 10am on Wednesday and is included in admission.
