Attractively situated on an island across a footbridge from the kauppatori, this old-fashioned place was slated for a major tower-block extension in 2018, and although it's intending to remain open during works, visitors may be best off staying elsewhere during this time. When finished, most rooms will have a balcony with lake view.
In-house guests have free access to the spa facilities, including an indoor pool, saunas, hot tubs and hammam; nonguests can use them for adult/child €10/5 in the afternoons.
