The dress-circle views of Olavinlinna Castle are one of many good reasons to stay at this boutique hotel on the lakeshore. There are five rooms sleeping between two and four on offer year-round, the best of which has its own wood sauna and outdoor spa. All are attractively decorated and most have kitchenettes. Staff are both friendly and helpful.

The front garden is an idyllic spot in which to while away an afternoon or evening. A delicious breakfast is served at the cafe on the front lawn in summer and in an annex building in cooler weather.
