Spread over four buildings used by students during term time, this 220-room hostel is operated by Savonlinna's Spa Hotel Casino. Located on lovely Vääräsaari, it is accessed via footbridge from the city centre. Cheaper rooms share a bathroom and kitchen (no utensils). The lack of wi-fi is disappointing, but free use of the spa facilities at the next-door hotel compensates.
