Owner Marja operates both a guesthouse and a hostel in characterful wooden 19th-century barracks buildings right by the Jalkaväkimuseo (Infantry Museum). The hostel is the better option of the two, with attractive single-sex dorms, private rooms, a communal kitchen, copious clean shared bathrooms and laundry facilities. The guesthouse has rooms with basic bathrooms and small kitchenettes and is overpriced.
A buffet breakfast is included in the guesthouse rates; those staying in the hostel pay €9.50.
