Two sizes of bliny (Russian buckwheat pancakes), topped with hot or cold salmon, trout roe, crayfish tails, or sour cream, pickled cucumber, red onion and local herbs, are the speciality of this fabulous lakeside bar-restaurant, with a panoramic rooftop terrace. The bar opens until 2am on Friday and Saturday, when live bands play; dancing spills out into the car park.
Other dishes include barbecued wild boar fillet, and homemade dumplings with fennel cream sauce. During the week, the bar is open an hour after the kitchen closes.
