Designed by Erkki Kantonen and Sakari Nironen and constructed in 1963, this architecturally notable building is one of the city's major landmarks. Family-run, it is extremely popular with visiting businesspeople – book ahead. Spacious rooms offer plenty of natural light; most have a balcony. It’s very handy for the bus and train stations.
