Schröder

Helsinki

Opened in 1896, Helsinki's oldest angling shop was the world's first to sell prized Rapala fishing lures – after Fritz Schröder met with Finnish designer Lauri Rapala prior to the 1952 Summer Olympics, Schröder sold them to international visitors, making them a household name. Today it still sells Rapala and other tackle, along with fishing licences and permits.
