Set in a Renaissance Revival building completed by architect Onni Tarjanne in 1890, this hotel is one of the most prestigious in Helsinki. It represents minimalism at its most luxurious with bespoke furniture in soothing colours in every room from the charming Atelier to the dramatic St. George Suite. Art works by the likes of Ai Wei Wei provide splashes of delight.
Bread from the onsite bakery is served at breakfast, while cocktails and snacks are served in the plush sofas of the Winter Garden. Andrea Restaurant is slightly more formal. The spa has a swimming pool and sauna and all massages and exercises are tailor made to each guest. There are also sleep monitors in the bedrooms to measure your slumber patterns which you can then discuss with a spa host.
