The first guesthouse opened in this building in 1625, accommodating the many travellers en route from Stockholm, Sweden, to Åbo (Turku). The building has, thankfully, been updated since then, but it retains an old-fashioned charm. Creaky-floored rooms contain old stoves and period furniture, and a harmonium graces the sitting room.
The restaurant serves excellent seafood and Stallhagen's Shipwreck Beer (among other things).
