Crow’s Nest Resort

Nautical terms abound at these smart, grey, split-level timber bungalows. Each has a lovely balcony and ocean views, and they’re in good nick and are good value. The slightly more expensive rooms are self-contained, but all can accommodate a family of four. The restaurant (mains $17 to $25) faces the hillside pool and has a cosmopolitan menu (we enjoyed the pastas with various shellfish).
