Rendezvous Beach Resort caters predominantly to surfers on a budget. Quick access to the Mamanuca surf breaks and dive sites are the attraction and the idea is to spend as much time away from the resort as possible. Accommodation is pretty simple, but you're likely to spend most of your time out on the breaks.
There’s a guest kitchen, otherwise three meals per day works out to around $75. The staff here are as languid as the seasoned surfers who visit. The daily surf boat goes to where the surf’s good and costs $100 to $150 per person (it's cheaper with more than one person) for four hours surfing. Resort transfers are available from Nadi ($40) and the airport ($60), or there are local buses to Uciwai from Nadi bus station ($2.50) departing a couple of times a day Monday through Saturday.
