Makaira by the Sea

Taveuni

Makaira has three bures, two of which have private plunge pools. All have kitchenettes but there’s also a small cafe where you can get breakfast and dinner. The family that runs the resort operates Makaira Sports Fishing; alternatively, try your luck on a fishing kayak trip ($110 per day). Guests are also invited to take part in their coral gardening program to help regenerate damaged reef.
