Tropica Island Resort

Mamanuca Group

The Tropica has left its former incarnation as Walu Beach Resort (purpose-built for an Australian reality TV show) far, far behind to become a slick adults-only destination. There are 30 totally refurbished bures, suites and rooms (all but the latter have outdoor showers, patios and cosy deck swings), plus a 25m infinity pool, and spa. The restaurant serves gourmet Fijan cuisine; meal plans $160.
