With some of Fiji's best breaks less than half an hour away, and top-notch kiteboarding spots a stroll from the door, Funky Fish is a thrillseekers' delight. Daily boats head out to spots including Cloudbreak, Restaurants and Swimming Pools, and stay until guests' wave-lusts are quenched. Ten-bed dorms and cheaper privates are clean but basic, while bures and Cloudbreak view rooms are a class above.

Funky Fish is owned by the same people who have the Beachcomber and Anchorage Beach (Vuda Point) resorts; transfers between the three are available.
