Ovalau Holiday Resort

Ovalau & the Lomaiviti Group


Three kilometres north of town, this resort consists of a cluster of cosy cottages on a gentle slope across from the beach. There's a licensed restaurant, and nonguests may use the small pool for $3. Cottages sleep up to four, while the house on the panoramic hill above takes eight ($30 per person supplement for more than five guests).

The resort is built on the site where Fiji's first governor general lived in the 1880s.
