Bishoftu Afaf Hotel

The Afaf won't inspire romance but has a low-key backpacker vibe and is deservedly popular with budget travellers. The rooms are ordinary, but a steal at this price considering it’s perched on Lake Bishoftu’s crater rim. The terrace restaurant overlooks the lake, but is enclosed by dirty glass windows.
