As part of its transformation into a spiffy country club and spa, this 50-hectare, 16th-century estate has converted its manor house and several historic outbuildings into guest rooms, eateries and a day spa (treatments from €35). The rooms in the main house, particularly, are slick, elegant places to linger, with tempting bathtubs and quality bedding.
There's plenty to do on-site: take a spa treatment, hire a boat to row on the lake (€10), inspect the restored water mill, play mini golf (€8) or visit the vodka museum (€5), eco-farm and the garage of classic Soviet-made cars.
