Housed in a Grade I Georgian townhouse, this is a large boutique hostel with colourful decor and good facilities including a bar with pool table. Rooms are mostly en suite and have a bit more character than you'd usually find in hostels, with the added intrigue of plaques outside doors describing the history of different rooms in the house.
It's popular with school groups and stag and hen parties – don't come here looking for peace and quiet. Family rooms are strategically positioned right at the top of the house.
