Whitelock's & Turk's Head

Leeds

You get two for one in Turk's Head Yard: first up there's the lovely old Whitelock's pub, which dates to 1715 and is all dark wood, gleaming copper and stained glass inside. Next door, there's Turk's Head, which is under the same ownership but a world away in style – think art-deco booths, good wine and craft cocktails.

The two bars have shared outdoor seating with heaters in the skinny alleyway where they're located; a popular hidey-hole on warm nights.
