Hambrough

Isle of Wight

What you see from the pick of the rooms at the Hambrough is truly fabulous – the suites have balconies with wraparound sea views, while you can watch the waves from the bathtub in room 4. The furnishings are smooth and smart, rather than stunning, and comfort comes courtesy of minifridges, underfloor heating and espresso machines.

Land-facing room six is nowhere near as nice.
